forgotten posts

I have been so very lazy and yet so very busy, the blog has been neglected, and now I have a backlog of things to post...not least Hannah's delicious supper club taglietelle with salmon - parmesan - asparagus - peashoots (delish) and much sooo more - yummy as always.

I have been LOVING the sunshine but haven't really been taking any pictures..I never seem to capture how pretty the light makes it all looks.I will make an extra effort though, while everything is blooming and leafy.

I changed my boot laces to this stone colour, then it got too warm to wear them..but the British weather won't let me down, I have faith that there will be heavy black boot conditions round the corner

red red pinafore

A Red Pinafore - (strangely) inspired by the french girl on the bike at the start of the Stella Artois Ad!
I wanted something cute, girly and bright to wear over blouses and vests this summer, and maybe with long socks and turtle necks in winter.

I really wanted to use a heavy weight jersey but couldn't get hold of anything thick enough to keep a good shape, so I found a red cotton drill with a stripe running through it as an alternative.

..I've not taken a decent picture of the finished article yet - looks abit flat and boxy on Doris, she isn't in the best shape...
